Farmhouse Extension

Studio Red Architects

This is a really exciting one today. Not a standalone house, but a conversion of a former shed in the grounds of a period country farmhouse by a lake to provide additional accommodation.

Studio Red’s commentary modestly says:

Our proposal incorporates a new ‘shed’, set off the existing house, which opens new views through the house and site, whilst recalling some of the materials, agricultural detailing and characteristics of the original buildings.
